My Writing

Sore

This story will be published in Pulp literary magazine in January 2019. It's the story of a young boy, growing up named Gavin in Scotland in 1980s. To deal with his poverty and the upsetting things he sees every day, Gavin creates an alternative reality where humans become birds. J.M Barrie's novella "Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens" inspired me to write this. I look forward to seeing it in print. For now, here is a photo of the chapbook I made.

Jo and Emilia

This was my first short story to be published.

It was published in the literary magazine "The Liar"

in Spring 2016. It's a story about two young women

escaping from their boarding school in England in the

1930s. It is not currently available online.

The Death of An Almond & Other Future Projects

I am currently working on a novel entitled "The Death of an Almond" which is half memoir/family-history and half fiction. I also continue to write other short stories, poems, and scripts which I send out for readings at different literary magazines and publishers. Wish me luck!
